Carla has enjoyed living and working in the Spokane area since getting her undergraduate degree from the University of Idaho, followed by her master’s degree from Gonzaga University. She has over 25 years of experience in Marketing/Public Relations and traveled extensively all over the country promoting programs for numerous companies. Once Carla & Kurt started their family she curtailed her travels and stayed home to raise the kids in their younger years. She is certified as a Peer Support Counselor and does volunteer work to help those in recovery. With a heart for giving, Carla loves serving the community even further by being a part of Project Beauty Share’s team.
Haley comes with more than 20 years of business experience in the insurance industry, and has been a Project Beauty Share volunteer since inception. Her passion for the work we do and the women we serve comes from personal experience of being a low-income single mother at one point in her life. She knows first-hand the power of women helping women regain dignity and confidence.
Chris Savage has 10 years of experience working in the service industry. He joins our team with a passion for giving back to his community. He is an avid reader and enjoys gardening and is quite the musician playing the violin for more than 20 years. Chris was a dedicated volunteer for Project Beauty Share and now joins our team as our new warehouse manager.
Katie is a Spokane native who stayed at home with her children for the past six years and taught classes at The Barrecode. Growing up she was active in Girl Scouts and her church youth group. She spent time helping serve several nonprofits with her family and youth group such as UGM, Crosswalk, YWAM San Francisco, and Family Promise. The strong emphasis of philanthropy and service that she was brought up with still resonates today. She is looking forward to continuing to serve the community of Spokane with her work at Project Beauty Share.
Julie found interest in the cosmetic industry through her international career as a model. Her 30 years of make-up experience, as well as extraordinary business acumen, blend seamlessly in her Executive Director role. Julie’s compassion and dedication in serving her community shines through in her work. Her personal mission to ensure everyone feels beautiful has translated into a thriving organization. Julie’s leadership and vision inspire everyone who has been blessed by a donation. Since its inception in 2010, Project Beauty Share has been Julie’s passion, demonstrating daily that “the beauty is in the giving”.
